Implement Gamification Strategies
Elevate User Experience with Advanced Gamification
Using advanced gamification strategies on the Galxe dashboard can significantly enhance user experiences and drive meaningful participation. By incorporating sophisticated tools and features, you create immersive and interactive environments that captivate your audience and encourage deeper involvement.
Referral Program
Expand Your Reach and Reward Advocates
A referral program enables existing participants to invite new users to a quest in exchange for additional rewards. Participants who refer others earn rewards based on how the program is configured, and the new users count toward those rewards once they participate in the quest. Supported reward types for referrers include Points, OATs, and NFTs.
Two reward modes are available:
Fixed Reward: The referrer earns the configured reward only once after meeting the required number of referrals. Additional referrals beyond that threshold do not generate further rewards.
Flexible Reward: The referrer earns the configured reward each time they reach a multiple of the required number of referrals. For example, with a threshold of 5 referrals worth 5 points each, a referrer who brings in 10 valid referrals earns 10 points (two reward cycles).
Note: The Referral Program is not available for quests that distribute Token or Custom rewards.
Reminder: Review your tasks carefully, as they cannot be deleted once released.

How to configure the Referral Program:
In the quest editor, locate the Referral Program section in task settings and toggle it on.
Configure the rewards to grant referrers. The settings allow one or both reward types depending on the quest's reward setup (for example, Points alongside an OAT).
Choose between Fixed Reward and Flexible Reward.
Set the Number of Referrals ≥ field. This is the minimum number of valid referrals required to earn the reward, or each cycle of rewards in Flexible mode.
Review the configuration and release the quest.
What Counts as a Valid Referral
What Counts as a Valid Referral
For a referral to count toward a reward, the referee must participate in the quest by successfully claiming its reward. Visiting the quest page or starting tasks alone does not qualify.
Important behavior in quests with multiple task groups: A referee is considered a valid referral as soon as they claim a reward from any single task group within the quest. They are not required to complete every task group to count.
As a result, referees may complete only the simplest or fastest task group and still trigger a successful referral. If your quest contains multiple task groups, expect that some referred participants will engage only with the easiest path.
Collect Participants' Info
Streamline Data Collection for Improved Engagement
Efficiently gather essential participant information to enhance engagement. Requesting specific details like social media IDs or blockchain addresses ensures users provide necessary data before claiming rewards. This approach allows you to tailor interactions and refine strategies, making your quests more relevant to your audience.
Note: Choose your data fields carefully, as they cannot be changed once your quest is live.
Guide
Guide
The only authorized method of collecting user information is to configure the "Collect Participants' Info" option before releasing the quest.
How to Collect Data the Right Way:
Go to Quest Settings.
Enable the "Collect Participant Info" option and specify the data fields you need (e.g., email, X ID).
At Galxe, protecting user data is a top priority. We firmly believe that users should have full control over their personal information. The Quest Settings feature is the only approved way to collect user data—such as social profiles, wallet addresses, and email addresses—ensuring participants explicitly authorize sharing their information before claiming rewards.
Important: Only request essential information, as these selections cannot be modified after launching the campaign.
Quest Collection
Organize Quests for a Cohesive Experience
Use the Quest Collection tool to group related quests into a streamlined, engaging path, enhancing user experience and fostering deeper involvement through themed bundles, season-wide initiatives, and collaborations. The Sequential feature refines this by requiring users to complete quests in a specific order, ensuring a structured, immersive journey with each completed quest unlocking the next, maintaining interest, and delivering meaningful progression.
Note: When activating sequential quests, users will be unable to see or complete any related quests set to private.
How Sequence Mode Unlocks Quests
In Sequence Mode, the next quest in the Collection unlocks as soon as a participant has officially participated in the previous quest. A user is recorded as a participant the moment they claim the reward from that quest.
This behavior interacts with quests that contain multiple task groups. A participant who completes only one task group and claims the reward is already counted as a participant in that quest, even though the other task groups remain incomplete. They can continue to the next quest in the sequence without completing the remaining task groups.
For example, consider a loyalty points quest with two task groups. A participant who completes only the first task group and claims the points is recorded as a participant. They can proceed to the next quest in the Sequence Mode collection without ever engaging with the second task group.
If specific tasks must be completed before a participant can move forward in the sequence, consolidate those tasks into a single task group rather than spreading them across multiple groups within the same quest.
Use Cases for Sequence Mode
Sequence Mode enables engagement patterns that are not possible with standalone quests. Three common applications:
Tell a story across multiple quests. Sequence Mode pairs naturally with content that has a narrative structure. Each ordered quest can guide participants progressively deeper into the project. Quest collections structured as a journey tend to perform best when each step builds context for the next.
Force a specific task order. Galxe Quests do not support enforcing a task order within a single quest. As a workaround, split the tasks across separate quests in the desired order and add them to a Quest Collection in Sequence Mode. Participants will then be required to complete the quests (and therefore the tasks) in the configured order.
Distribute multiple reward types for a single activity. A common request is to grant multiple reward types (for example, an OAT and a token raffle entry) for the same set of tasks. Quest Collections enable this: create separate quests with the same tasks but different reward types, and group them in a Collection. Sequence Mode is recommended in this scenario. Place the less valuable reward's quest first in the sequence so any participant joining for the higher-value reward also completes the lower-value one.
Watchlist
Streamline Management and Boost Engagement
The Watchlist feature consolidates multiple quests and related activities into one unified view that allows for a cohesive management of large-scale events. This tool is especially useful for dashboard users, such as ecosystems, KOLs, and influencers, who need to oversee various quests across different spaces. Grouping related quests into one organized list simplifies the user experience, allowing participants to access and engage with all relevant activities from a single interface. This approach enhances convenience and improves your ability to monitor and promote key initiatives, optimizing engagement and impact.
Co-host
Collaborate and Amplify Reach with Co-hosting
Utilize the Co-host feature to collaborate with multiple hosts on a Quest or Quest Collection. This cooperative approach introduces diverse perspectives and interactions, enriching the user experience and strengthening community ties. By co-hosting, you tap into broader networks and drive greater engagement through multi-partner collaborations, enhancing the reach and impact of your initiatives.
Note: This feature is subject to availability and approval for Space Tier Level 4 spaces on a seasonal basis.
Forge
Create Unique Experiences with Forge
Forge allows users to merge multiple NFTs into a single, custom NFT, offering a unique and personalized experience. This feature enables users to transform their existing NFTs into new, distinctive assets, adding a layer of creativity to their collections. Users must approve NFT usage, ensuring secure transactions. Forge enhances engagement by offering creative freedom and fostering deeper interaction with your NFT offerings.

Advanced Mystery Box
Enhance Exclusivity with Advanced Mystery Box
The Advanced Mystery Box feature ensures each participant draws a unique NFT, eliminating duplication and fostering exclusivity. Unlike probability-based methods, this feature allows you to set a fixed number of NFTs per box, guaranteeing that each user receives a distinct reward. However, there is also an option to distribute batched NFTs. For instance, in a quest that features 30 rewards, you can select between having 30 unique NFTs or 5 NFTs (depending on your preference) distributed among 30 winners. This approach increases the perceived value of rewards and drives engagement by offering a unique experience for each participant.

Geo-Fencing
Enhance Location-Based Engagement with Geo-Fencing
Geo-Fencing allows for precise targeting by activating specific actions or rewards based on users' physical locations. By setting virtual boundaries, you ensure that users can only participate in quests or access rewards within designated areas. This feature is valuable for location-based quests or region-specific offers, delivering relevant content and incentives based on real-world contexts. For example, if a quest is restricted to certain regions, users outside these areas cannot participate or claim rewards.
Note: This feature is subject to availability and approval for Space Tier Level 4 spaces on a seasonal basis.
Why Advanced Gamification Matters
Advanced gamification is essential for creating compelling and immersive user experiences. Integrating these sophisticated features enhances user satisfaction, drives sustained participation, and helps achieve your project's objectives. Embrace advanced gamification to transform user engagement and ensure long-term success in the Web3 space.

Why can't users see my Quest Collection?
Why can't users see my Quest Collection?
If users are unable to see your Quest Collection, it might be due to the following reasons:
Privacy Settings: Ensure that the Quest Collection and its individual quests are set to public. If they are private, only space admins will be able to view them.
Activation Status: Verify that the Quest Collection is activated. Inactive collections will not be visible to users.
Access Permissions: Check if there are any specific access permissions or restrictions that might be limiting visibility. (E.g. Geo-fencing feature activated).
Review these settings to ensure that your Quest Collection is accessible and visible to your intended audience.
Can I add multiple rewards to a single quest?
Can I add multiple rewards to a single quest?
No, only one type of reward is allowed per quest. If you want to distribute multiple types of rewards, you'll need to create separate quests for each reward and group them together in a quest collection.
Why are referred users not completing all of my quest's task groups?
Why are referred users not completing all of my quest's task groups?
A referee is considered a valid referral as soon as they claim a reward from any single task group in the quest. They are not required to complete every task group. Quests that include multiple task groups frequently see referred participants completing only the simplest path, since that is sufficient to trigger the referral. This is expected behavior. To ensure every referred user engages with specific tasks, consolidate those tasks into a single task group.
What's the difference between Fixed and Flexible referral rewards?
What's the difference between Fixed and Flexible referral rewards?
Fixed Reward grants the configured reward one time, once the referrer meets the threshold. Flexible Reward grants the configured reward repeatedly, each time the referrer hits a multiple of the threshold. Flexible suits campaigns that benefit from sustained referral activity, while Fixed works better when only a single completion milestone matters.
