When claiming quest rewards, such as Loyalty Points, OATs, or NFTs, a claim fee is required to process the transaction.
These fees are necessary to complete on-chain operations, keep reward claims transparent, and maintain an accurate record of user participation.
Claim Fee Tier Model
The claim fee discount is determined by your Loyalty Level, which is calculated based on the user's total valid Experience Points (XP). Higher loyalty levels unlock deeper discounts and longer validity periods for those benefits.
Note: All discounts apply exclusively to reward claims made on the Gravity network.
Loyalty Level | XP Range | Claim Fee Discount | XP/Level Validity |
L1 (Carbon) | 0 - 89 | Full Price | 30 Days |
L2 (Bronze) | 90 - 239 | Full Price | 30 Days |
L3 (Crystal) | 240 - 539 | 38% Off | 30 Days |
L4 (Gold) | 540 - 2,549 | 38% Off | 60 Days |
L5 (Platinum) | 2,550 - 15,299 | 75% Off | 60 Days |
L6 (Diamond) | 15,300+ | 75% Off | 90 Days |
Notes:
Payment Currency: Rewards claimed on the Gravity network are paid in G tokens. The fee is calculated using a base value of $0.08 per claim; the actual amount deducted is determined by the discount associated with your current Loyalty Level.
XP Validity (Rolling Period): Instead of a fixed evaluation period, the system uses rolling XP validity. Your level is calculated daily based on XP earned within the last 30, 60, or 90 days (depending on your current level). As old XP expires, you must earn new XP to maintain your status.
Qualified Claim: Any successful on-chain payment of a claim fee on eligible quests. Each qualified claim now awards +30 XP and +30 Galxe Gold (GG) toward your loyalty progression. Failed claim attempts do not grant XP or count toward your level.
Level Protection: During the transition to the new system, your effective claim fee will always be the lower (better) of the two: either the discount from your new Loyalty Level or your previous Claim Fee Tier.
Upgrade Logic
Your claim fee discount is based on your overall activity on the platform.
How to Upgrade: Earn XP by completing tasks.
Daily Tasks: Check-ins (+1 XP) and completing Quests (+3 XP).
Special Tasks: Subscribing to Galxe+ (+200 XP) or minting a Galxe Score (+300 XP).
Maintenance Logic
XP has a rolling validity based on your level.
At L1-L3, XP expires after 30 days.
At L4-L5, XP expires after 60 days.
At L6, XP expires after 90 days.
Daily Calculation: Your loyalty level (and corresponding discount) is recalculated daily. If your XP expires and your total falls below a threshold, your discount tier may downgrade.
FAQs
When does my discount activate?
When does my discount activate?
Your discount activates immediately once your total valid Experience Points (XP) reach the threshold for a new level (e.g., reaching 240 XP for L3 or 2,550 XP for L5). Your level is calculated daily, and the corresponding discount is applied to your next claim on the Gravity network.
What is a "qualified claim"?
What is a "qualified claim"?
A qualified claim is any successful on-chain payment of a claim fee for rewards like OATs, NFTs, or Loyalty Points.
How do I maintain my user level?
How do I maintain my user level?
You maintain your level by ensuring your total valid XP stays within your level’s required range. Since XP has a limited lifespan (30, 60, or 90 days depending on your level), you must consistently earn new XP through:
Daily Tasks: Checking in (+1 XP) and completing quests (+3 XP).
Claiming Rewards: Each claim now provides a significant boost of +30 XP.
Special Tasks: Minting a Galxe Score or subscribing to Galxe+.
What happens if I don't maintain my tier?
What happens if I don't maintain my tier?
If your XP expires and your total valid XP falls below the threshold for your current level, your Loyalty Level will be automatically adjusted downward to the level you currently qualify for. Consequently, your claim fee discount may decrease (e.g., moving from a 75% discount at L5 back to a 38% discount at L4).
Can I see my user level status?
Can I see my user level status?
Yes. You can track your current Loyalty Level, your total valid XP, the expiration timeline of your points, and your current claim fee discount directly on your Galxe Profile.
Is the evaluation period fixed or rolling?
Is the evaluation period fixed or rolling?
The system now uses a rolling validity period rather than a fixed 30-day reset.
Each "batch" of XP you earn has its own expiration date based on your level at that time (30, 60, or 90 days).
Your level is recalculated every day based on the sum of all XP that hasn't expired yet. This means your level can change on any given day, rather than only at the end of a month.
