Advanced Sybil Prevention is a premium feature available exclusively to Galxe Business+ Pro and Enterprise subscribers. It helps ensure your quest rewards reach real, verified users not bots or suspicious accounts.
How It Works
Galxe’s internal Bot Identification System uses engagement signals and behavioral patterns to flag suspicious users as sybil. When enabled:
Normal, unflagged accounts can fully interact with quests, complete tasks, and claim rewards.
Accounts flagged as sybil will be restricted from claiming rewards, but not from performing quest tasks.
Note: If a flagged account attempts to claim a reward in a quest, they’ll see a message:
“Bot activity detected. This quest is protected by Galxe's anti-bot system and requires human participation.”
What It Does
This tool allows Pro or Enterprise subscribers to block Galxe accounts flagged as sybil from claiming any type of quest reward, including:
Points
OATs
NFTs
Custom Rewards
Mystery Boxes
Tokens
Discord Roles
Note: Accounts flagged as sybil may still complete quest tasks, but will not be able to claim rewards if flagged by the system.
How to Enable It
You can enable Advanced Sybil Prevention during or after quest setup:
Go to the Quest Creation or edit page.
Under the Participation Requirements section, toggle “Enable Advanced Sybil Prevention.”
Save and publish your changes.
How It Appears
When a quest has Advanced Sybil Prevention enabled:
A shield icon is shown on the quest page.
Hovering shows: “This quest uses Galxe’s enhanced Sybil prevention system. Bot users will be restricted from participating.”
The quest management dashboard will also show

Advanced Sybil Prevention can be enabled in any quest created on Galxe Spaces subscribed to Galxe Business+ Pro or Enterprise plans. Upgrade to a Galxe Business+ Pro or Enterprise plan to unlock this feature.
What Happens if the Galxe Business+ Subscription Ends?
If your Galxe Business+ subscription expires, the Authentic Verification feature will not be disabled immediately. A 10-day grace period is provided, during which the feature will remain active. After this period, if the subscription is not renewed, the feature will be automatically disabled, and quests will revert to using standard sybil analysis without blocking functionalities. Re-subscribing at any time will instantly restore full protection.
Authentic Verification (Bonus for All Subscribers)
All Business+ subscribers (Growth, Pro, and Enterprise) can enable Authentic Verification to validate X task completion via the X API.
*Authentic Verification will also remain active during the 10-day grace period after your subscription ends, and will be automatically disabled if not renewed within that time.
