Points on Gravity

Points on the Gravity revolutionize the management and distribution of loyalty points within your community. This integration enhances transparency, security, and efficiency, aligning with blockchain technology decentralized ethos. It streamlines point distribution, boosts user engagement, and provides tools to cultivate an active community. Transactions are recorded immutably on the Gravity network, allowing users to confidently verify their balances and history. With Gravity, loyalty points are elevated from mere offchain figures into tangible blockchain assets, supported by features like permission control, snapshot taking, and points trading, setting the foundation for dynamic loyalty marketplaces.

Set Point Contract Name

The Point Token Contract on the Gravity network manages your loyalty points by handling their creation, distribution, and transferability. It ensures transparent, secure, and immutable record-keeping, with details such as the contract name, total points issued, and transfer status.

Set Gasless

By default, users are responsible for covering their participation gas fees on the Gravity network. To improve the user experience, enable the gasless option during your quest setup and ensure that your Gas Station has sufficient funds.

Note: If Gas Station funds are insufficient, users will see a prompt to pay gas fees to claim points.

Set Transferability

Manage point transferability with smart contracts to enable flexible distribution and transfers based on your point system needs.

Note: In the initial phase of Points on Gravity, points will be non-transferable.

Set Season Leaderboard

Season-based leaderboards on Galxe track and display the top point earners over a specific period. This feature highlights top contributors, rewards your community based on seasonal points, and maintains enthusiasm through ongoing participation. You can choose to activate or deactivate the Display Overall Leaderboard; if deactivated, users will not see the season's leaderboard.

Note: The start time for the leaderboard must be set for a future date (24 hours before set-up date) and cannot be scheduled for the past.

Download Season Leaderboard

To download the season leaderboards, navigate to your Space dashboard, select the Leaderboard option, then click on the current season and choose download.


Set Exclusive Channel

Create private Discord channels for your most loyal users based on point accumulation. This feature rewards top community members with special access or privileges, fostering a sense of exclusivity and appreciation. Managing exclusive channels can enhance user retention and encourage active participation within your community.

Note: You must connect your Discord server before using this feature.

Distribute/Subtract Points

Efficiently allocate or subtract points by uploading a CSV file, in addition to running quests. This feature streamlines the distribution process, ensuring prompt awarding of points and maintaining user motivation. It’s also ideal for migrating points from external platforms or sources, allowing a seamless integration and management of large-scale point distributions.

Note: All point allocations or subtractions will be recorded on-chain and require sufficient gas station to operate.

Gain more insights

Utilize detailed reports to analyze your community's interaction with Points. This feature offers essential data on point distribution and user engagement, enabling you to refine reward strategies and enhance community involvement.

Note: The downloaded data is recorded on the Gravity network with wallet addresses in EVM format.

FAQs

Will Points be tradable in the future?

Currently, Points on the Gravity network are not transferable. Stay tuned for announcements regarding any updates to this feature.

Are there any restrictions on point usage or redemption?

Points can be redeemed for various rewards, such as exclusive discord access. The specifics of the redemption process depend on how you design it through Galxe Quest or Galxe Quest integration.

What should I do if a user reaches out saying they did not receive their points?

If a user reports not receiving their points, first confirm that the point allocation was processed correctly by checking the transaction history on the Gravity network. Users need to claim their points on the Gravity network, which involves paying gas fees. Ensure the user has completed this step. If the points were correctly allocated and the user has paid the gas fees but still encounters issues, instruct them to contact Galxe Support for further assistance.

What criteria are used to rank users on the leaderboard when they have the same points?

When users have the same points, leaderboard ranks are determined alphabetically by their Galxe ID.
