Challenge: “DeFi 101” NFT Campaign

This led CoinGecko to reach out with the intention to create a fun way to educate and incentivize DeFi beginners and enthusiasts on the wider web3 ecosystem.
Solution
With the help of Galxe, CoinGecko produced the ultimate DeFi course with a series of educational resources to help both beginners and industry veterans get up to speed with the latest developments. Not only that, this campaign also presented an opportunity for participants to get rewarded through a learn-to-earn plan.
For example, the “DeFi 101” NFT Campaign included five courses, each with its own task on different DeFi protocols. This campaign also rewarded participants with a badge for each completed task and an honor student badge to every student who completed all five courses.
Results
A total of 16,730 users participated in the campaign and over 2,600 OATs (On-chain achievement tokens) were minted for each course.
On top of that, this campaign also boosted the individual protocols that were involved with the courses and helped kickstarted new user’s journey in the world of web3.
