What is Galxe Smart Balance?
Smart Balance is your financial hub within the Galxe ecosystem.
It's a feature designed to simplify your transactions, reduce fees, and give you a streamlined way to manage your experience on Galxe.
Think of it as a smart wallet that has got your back, helping you make the most of your Galxe experience.

Why should I use Galxe Smart Balance?
Galxe Smart Balance is an exciting and powerful feature available to all users of Galxe! Smart Balance enhances your experience on Galxe.
One signature, multiple transactions, no need to swap tokens any more.
With Smart Balance, deposit, claim & don't worry (About anything other than top-ups 😎)
Smart Balance lets you top up in a currency of your choice and use it across blockchain networks.
Using Smart Balance, reduces the amount of transactions you make and the amount of network fees you pay.
Which means you increase the amount of rewards you get!
⭐️ Tip: The first 10,000 with a Web3 Score of 800 or more will earn $2 in Smart Balance Credits when they deposit $10 or more!
Step 1: Navigate to Galxe & Connect Your Wallet
Start by navigating to: galxe.com
Then, get ready to connect your wallet to Galxe.
Connect your preferred wallet following the on-screen instructions.
These are popular wallet choices that Galxe supports:
MetaMask
TrustWallet
Coinbase Wallet
You can use any wallet that Galxe Supports to deposit into Smart Balance.
Check the other wallets Galxe supports here.
If you are new to Galxe & Web3, create a wallet first.
Then you can connect to Galxe and use Smart Balance!

ℹ️ Note: Before you can use Smart Balance, connect your wallet to Galxe!
Step 2: Go to Your Settings
Head to your account settings through the dropdown menu in the right corner of Galxe.
From there, you should see 'Deposit' as an option.
Select the deposit button and proceed to deposit into your Smart Balance!
ℹ️ Note: You will only see this option after you connect your wallet to Galxe!
Step 3: Deposit Into Your Smart Balance
Before you can use your Smart Balance, you need to fill it up!
Follow this process to deposit:
Choose the token you want to deposit
Enter the number of tokens you wish to deposit (Minimum 5 USD)
Confirm the deposit transaction in your wallet
When you are on the correct screen to deposit into your Smart Balance, it should look like this 👇
i. Choose Your Deposit Token
You can utilize tokens or your preferred currency by choosing the token you want to use for depositing or topping up your Smart Balance.
Smart Balance allows you to deposit several different tokens.
You can choose from options such as:
USDC, USDT
ETH
BNB
MATIC
ii. Enter the Deposit Amount
Next, enter the amount. Input the amount you wish to top up your Smart Balance with.
Filling up your Smart Balance is very easy.
Choose from currencies, including ETH, and many others, to deposit or top up your Smart Balance.
⚠️ Wait: You can only use Smart Balance to cover network fees on Galxe (gas payments) and Galxe Passport services.
Available Networks for Depositing
You may deposit the following tokens on the specified networks into Smart Balance:

Using Smart Balance as payment means you don't need to switch networks and can choose which one you'd like to use.

Keep in mind the minimum deposit is equivalent to 5 USD.
With Smart Balance, there is an order that payments follow.
When you deposit either tokens into Smart Balance, payments get
prioritized according to a priority.
ℹ️ Note: Recently added networks get marked with an asterisk*
iii. Smart Balance Payment Priority
When paying for transactions on Galxe with Smart Balance, the deduction priority is as follows:
Balance Type | Payment Priority |
Smart Balance Credits | (#1) Credits gets used first |
USD Balance | (#3) USD balance gets utilized last |
Confirm the Deposit Transaction
Review the details and confirm the deposit transaction with your wallet.
Confirm the network fees and allow some time for your transaction to get confirmed.
Then, wait for your balance to get credited. It may take around 5-10 minutes before your balance gets reflected.
And remember, you can follow this step anytime you need to deposit or top up your Smart Balance!
ℹ️ Note: Deposits get denominated in USD to protect you from fluctuations!
Step 4: Use Smart Balance for Transactions
While making payments or transactions on Galxe, you can utilize Smart Balance for a smoother experience!
After depositing into Smart Balance, your balance will automatically get used as your preferred payment method. You can turn off the toggle at any time.
Smart Balance streamlines the process of making transactions on Galxe.
⭐️ Tip: Automate Your Transactions Using Smart Balance and reduce your fees!
Find a toggle when viewing your Smart Balance that lets you choose when to use it.
Toggle the switch ‘off’ if you DO NOT want Smart Balance to be your default payment option.

i. Managing Your Smart Balance
Filling up your Smart Balance is very easy.
You can view your Smart Balance details anytime and track your transaction history via account settings.
Choose from currencies, including ETH, USDC, USDC, BNB, MATIC and many others to come, and deposit or top up your Smart Balance.
You decide how much you want to add, with a friendly minimum deposit of 5 USD, to get things rolling.
Once topped up, you can view your balance from your dashboard, making managing your assets a piece of cake!
⚠️ Wait: You can only use Smart Balance to cover network fees (gas payments) and mint a Galxe Passport.
ii. Smart Balance Terms of Use
Please be aware Smart Balance has terms and conditions that you must read and agree to before using Smart Balance.
These terms are subject to change and, as such, should be referenced whenever you get asked to agree to them on Galxe.com.
By utilizing Smart Balance, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Non-Withdrawable: You CANNOT withdraw any balance or credits from your Smart Balance. The balance must be exclusively used for gas payments and Galxe passport services on Galxe.com.
Exclusive Use: Your Smart Balance is solely usable on Galxe.com, cannot be utilized in, and does not have any value in any other capacity anywhere else.
USD Denomination: All Smart Balances are denominated in USD. The prevailing exchange rate determines the amount of your Smart Balance at the time of the transaction, which means that when you deposit using non-USD funds, your deposited amount will be calculated based on the prevailing exchange rates.
Service Fees: Using Smart Balance incurs a service fee. The service fees are as follows:
Non-GAL Deposits: 10% of the total gas fee, with a minimum fee of $0.01.
