The CSV credential is a powerful tool that enables you to import data into Galxe by simply uploading a single file. This makes it an ideal option for quickly and easily adding large amounts of data to your credential. Whether you need to import a list of users to whitelist or any other type of data, the CSV credential can save you time and effort.

Import your own Data (CSV)

  1. Select Import Your Own Data from the Credential Dashboard

  2. Select the ID Type of your upload.
This option can only be selected once. It enables our system to recognize and verify the type of data you provide.

  3. Enter a title that accurately describes the data source for the credential.

  4. Select CSV for Credential Source.

  5. Upload your list of eligible users to the Credential Holders field.
Note: You can upload a CSV file at any time and make edits as needed.

  6. Enter a brief summary of the credential that will be displayed on the campaign page and the credential page.

  7. Enter the URL associated with the call-to-action where users can complete the credential, such as your app, a Gleam or Google Form link, or any other relevant link and press save.

  8. Click "Create" to save the credential.

Tips for Creating a CSV File for Credential Data

  1. Use one column for all addresses, with no column names.

  2. Make sure addresses match the corresponding chain's address mask.

    1. For EVM-compatible chains - the address must start with "0x" followed by 40 alphanumeric characters, making it a total of 42 characters long.

    2. For Aptos, the address must start with "0x" followed by 62 alphanumeric characters, making it a total of 64 characters long.

    3. For Solana, the address length can vary from 32 to 44 characters, including numerals and letters.

  3. Remove any empty lines and extra spaces/characters.

  4. Avoid duplicate addresses.

Note: For email CSV credentials, users must have their email address bound to their Galxe ID before they can be verified.
