The X Authentic Verification Credits introduces a credit-based system that controls how and when projects can enable X-based verification tasks (such as retweets or quote retweets) in their quests. This article explains how X Authentic Verification Credits work, how they are displayed, how they are consumed, and what projects can expect across different access levels.

What Are X Authentic Verification Credits?

X Authentic Verification Credits determine whether a project can enable X (formerly Twitter) verification requirements within a quest. Credits are consumed when users complete certain X verification actions. Once credits are exhausted, verification is automatically disabled until credits are available again.

Credits availability and visibility depend on the project’s Rewards Hub Level and if the Project is subscribed to any Business+ plan.

X Authentic vs Non-Authentic Verification

Authentic Verification confirms that a user actually completed the required action on X (such as following or reposting) through X’s API, while Non-Authentic Verification only detects the user’s intent to perform the action without confirming completion.

Rewards Hub Level & Credit Visibility

Your Rewards Hub level determines whether X Authentic Verification Credits are visible and how many credits are available.

  • Level 1 Access: X Authentic Verification Credits are not available.

  • Level 2 Access: 10,000 X Authentic Verification Credits available.

  • Level 3 Access: 40,000 X Authentic Verification Credits available.

  • Level 4 Access: 80,000 X Authentic Verification Credits available.

Note: Credits are displayed directly in the Rewards Hub once access is reached.

Business+ Access

Spaces with Business+ subscription have unlimited access to view and manage X Authentic Verification directly within their quest interface.

Creating a Quest with X Authentic Verification

Case 1: Credits Available (Not Fully Used)

When you have available credits:

  • You can enable X Authentic Verification while creating a quest.

  • The interface displays Used/Total Credits.

  • Hovering over the credit indicator shows explanatory notes describing credit usage.

This allows you to track credit consumption in real time.

Case 2: Credits Available but Fully Used

If all credits have been consumed:

  • X Authentic Verification cannot be enabled.

  • Verification is automatically disabled for the affected space and its quest.

  • A system message informs you that there are fewer than 2k credits left.

Verification will remain unavailable until credits are replenished.

Case 3: No Credits Available

If your account has no X Authentic Verification Credits:

  • X Authentic Verification cannot be enabled.

  • A prompt indicates that no credits are available and verification cannot be activated.

Case 4: Business+ Spaces

For Business+ subscribers, X Authentic Verification behavior remains unchanged:

  • Verification can be enabled as usual.

  • Credit usage may display as Used/Unlimited, depending on account configuration.

Editing a Quest with X Authentic Verification

Case 1: Credits Exhausted After Verification Is Enabled

If credits are fully consumed while verification is active, the system will automatically disable X Authentic Verification for the quest.

Case 2: Credits Available After Being Automatically Disabled

If credits become available again:

  • Verification can be manually re-enabled.

  • Hovering over the verification toggle shows Used/Total Credits.

How Credits Are Consumed

Credits are consumed based on the type of X verification used in a quest:

  • Verify Follower/Followed By

    • No change to used credits.

  • Verify X Retweet

    • +10 credits used per verification.

  • Verify X Quote Retweet

    • +10 credits used per verification.

Note: X Like is not supported and cannot be enabled for verification.
