Galxe now offers Luck-Based Token Rewards a fun and exciting way to win tokens through a raffle where each winner gets a different amount.

What is Luck-Based Token Reward?

In a Luck-Based Token Reward Raffle, winners are selected randomly just like a regular raffle but instead of getting the same reward, the total token pool is divided randomly among the winners.

  • Some winners may get more, some may get less.

  • One winner will receive the highest amount and will be labeled as the "Luckiest."

  • Each winner still receives at least $1 worth of rewards.

Note: This is different from Fixed Token Reward Raffle, where each winner gets the exact same amount of tokens.

How Does It Work?

  1. You complete a quest marked with “Luck-Based Token Reward”.

  2. After the quest ends, a raffle is held to choose winners.

  3. The total reward pool is divided randomly among the winners.

  4. Once the results are out, you can check how much you won and claim your reward.

Example

  • A project sets 1000 G tokens as the reward pool for 10 winners.

  • The tokens are randomly split.

    • One user may win 250 G

    • Another may win 100 G

    • Another may win 60 G and so on

  • The Luckiest winner is the one who received the highest reward.

How to Identify a Luck-Based Quest

When viewing a quest:

  • Look for the “Token - Luck-Based Token Reward” tag.

  • You’ll also see:

    • Total reward pool (e.g., 1000 G)

    • Number of winners (e.g., 10)

    • Max possible reward

  • These are displayed before the quest starts so you know what to expect.

Important Notes

  • You must claim your reward within 14 days after winners are announced.

  • If rewards are not claimed, the project may reclaim leftover tokens.

  • All rewards are distributed on-chain, and raffle winners need to initiate the transfer of the prize to their own wallet.

Why Try Luck-Based Rewards?

  • It’s fun, like a mini lottery for completing quests.

  • You might become the Luckiest winner.

  • It adds more surprise and engagement to your quest journey.
