The Gigapot is a weekly prize draw that allows users to exchange their Galxe Gold (GG) for a chance to win valuable rewards. It offers an engaging and rewarding way to utilize accumulated GG, adding a dynamic layer to the Galxe platform experience.

How It works

  1. Purchase lottery tickets

    Each ticket you purchase through the Rewards Hub comes with a unique serial number, valid only for the current round of the GG Lottery. Make sure to check the Rewards Hub each week to participate in the latest draw.

  2. Enter the draw

    Each ticket counts as one entry into the weekly draw, increasing your chances of winning with every additional ticket you purchase.

  3. Wait for the results

    The GG Lottery is drawn weekly, every Thursday at 12:00 AM (midnight) UTC+8. Once the draw takes place, users must flip their purchased tickets to reveal if they've won.

  4. Results and ticket expiry

    Once the weekly draw concludes, all submitted tickets expire. Users who wish to participate in future draws must purchase new tickets for each round.

Prize Tiers

There are two types of rewards available each week:

  1. Community Prizes

    Multiple winners receive smaller prizes every week.

  2. Grand Alpha

    One lucky participant wins 50% of the entire prize pool.
    ​

If no one wins the Grand Alpha in a given week, the reward rolls over and accumulates into the next week’s prize pool, increasing the stakes over time.

  • The draws for Grand Alpha and Community Prize are conducted independently, giving participants a chance to win either or both prizes.

  • At the time of draw, a set of numbers equal to rewards slots will be randomly selected from 1 to N to serve as the winning numbers, where N = Total amount of circulating tickets in current round / Max winning probability in current round.

  • The winning numbers are selected using zk-technology to ensure fairness and transparency.
    ​

  • Ticket holders should manually flip tickets to check drawing results by clicking "draw" button in the "last round" section on event page. Each ticket is assigned with a unique serial number starts at 1 at purchase in each round. Tickets that match winning numbers are winning tickets.

How long do I have to claim my reward?

Winners have 7 days (1 week) to claim their rewards after the draw results are announced. If a reward is not claimed within this period, it will be returned to the prize pool and made available in future lottery cycles.

How do I participate in the Gigapot lottery?

To enter the lottery, purchase tickets using Galxe Gold (GG). Each ticket gives you one entry into the next draw. You can buy tickets individually or in bundles.

Are my chances better if I buy more tickets?

Each ticket has an equal probability of winning. Purchasing more tickets increases the number of entries you have, which can improve your chances statistically, but does not guarantee a win.
