Updated yesterday

Get ready to take your Galxe quests to the next level with the Prediction credential! This exciting feature allows you to create thrilling prediction contests where users make their best guesses on an outcome. But here’s the twist - only those who predict correctly will be verified and rewarded!

It’s a fun, interactive way to boost engagement, challenge your community, and add a competitive edge to your quest. Remember to come back and label the correct outcome after the Voting Deadline to finalize the results!

Guide: Steps to Set Up a Prediction Task

Step 1: Create a Quest and add the Prediction task

  1. Navigate to your Galxe Dashboard and click "Create Quest."

  2. Enter the required quest details, including the start and end time. Ensure that the end time is at least 3 to 5 days after the voting deadline to allow users enough time to verify whether their prediction was correct. Users who predicted correctly will be able to complete the quest.

  3. Go to “Task Settings” and click “Set Up Task Group”.

  4. From the available options, select “Prediction” as your task type.

Step 2: Setup the Prediction task

Define the prediction topic and set the possible outcomes (e.g., “Will $BTC price close above $100,000 by the end of February 2025?” with options like “Yes” and “No”).

Step 3: Set the Voting Deadline

  1. Choose a Voting Deadline - the last date users can make their predictions. The date and time you set here will follow your local time zone.

  2. After this deadline, no further votes will be accepted.

  3. Under the "Rules" field, you can specify the detailed criteria for determining the correct answer and provide clear guidelines for users.
