Galxe Telegram Mini App: Setup Guide
Galxe Telegram Mini App: Setup Guide
Updated yesterday

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up Telegram Mini App Tasks on the Galxe Dashboard. By following these simple steps, you can create and manage tasks in the Galxe Telegram Mini App (TGMA), configure requirements, and optimize campaign settings efficiently. By leveraging Telegram's massive traffic and the Galxe Mini App's millions of users, you can effectively attract your target audience.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up TGMA Tasks

1. Accessing the Dashboard

Log in to the Galxe Dashboard with your project account.

To ensure the quality of tasks in TGMA, only verified accounts can be used to create TGMA tasks. If your Space is not yet verified, click here to apply for verification.

2. Access the TGMA Task Management Panel

In the Dashboard, locate “TG Mini App Tasks” and click to access the Task Management panel.

In this panel, you can:

  • View overall participation in your Space

  • Check the number of participants, task statuses, and other relevant details for all created tasks

  • Check your available Rewards Pool balance.

Additionally, you can manage your existing tasks by:

  • Editing tasks

  • Duplicating tasks

  • Setting tasks to Private (visible only to you)

  • Deleting tasks

3. Deposit Rewards

Deposit the rewards (Toncoin) that you plan to use to incentivize users to participate in the task into the Rewards Pool.

Note: According to the latest regulations from Telegram and TON, after February 21, 2025, assets from other ecosystems will no longer be allowed as rewards in the TGMA, and promoting other ecosystems will also be prohibited.

Therefore, we currently only support Toncoin (TON) as the reward token and do not accept projects from other ecosystems.

4. Create a New Task

Once your rewards pool has sufficient funds, click the "Create" button to create a new task.

Set Task Type

On this page, you can choose the task type you wish to create. Compared to Quests, the currently supported task types are fewer, primarily including social and some on-chain tasks.

Set Task Details

To set up a task, input the task name, duration, and description (shown in the Custom Task Message Bar) to clearly communicate the required action.

  • Task Name: The name of the task as it will appear to users. It is recommended to keep it under 10 words for easier readability.

  • Task Period: The duration of the task. You can choose “No end time,” meaning the task will continue until the rewards are exhausted.

  • Display Custom Task Message Bar: If the task title does not fully convey the message, you can enable this option to add additional content for users.

  • Authentic Verification: Enable Authentic Verification to require real verification for task completion. If this feature is not enabled, the task will be marked as complete as soon as the user clicks it.

5. Set Task Rewards

You can choose the following rewards for your task:

  1. Toncoin (TON)

  2. Galxe Points

  3. GG (Galxe Gold)

    1. Users can use GG to participate in Galxe platform and TGMA lottery events to win Token rewards.

    2. Currently, all TGMA tasks are defaulted to receive GG reward subsidies.

6. Set Up the Reward Distribution Method

You can choose from the following three reward distribution formats:

First Come, First Served

  • Rewards are given to users in order of task completion.

  • Once the reward pool is exhausted, no further rewards will be distributed.

  • Ideal for campaigns that encourage quick participation.

*When distributing token rewards, a maximum participant limit must be set.

Lottery

  • Rewards are randomly distributed among eligible participants.

  • After users complete the task, rewards are distributed through a lottery based on the reward share. For example, if you set 1000 TON as the reward and have 100 winners, each winner gets 10 TON. If the task has a cap of 100,000 users, the initial probability of winning would be 1%.

Note: All users who do not win will receive a GG reward subsidy from Galxe.

Recurrence

This is set to FCFS by default. However, rewards will be granted after the user completes the task for several consecutive days.

  • Set the recurrence period (e.g., every X days).

  • Useful for ongoing engagement tasks where users can participate repeatedly.

  • Helps maintain activity and community involvement over a specified duration.

7. Saving & Releasing the task

  • Review all settings and make adjustments if necessary.

  • Click "Save Draft" to store it as a draft or "Release" to go live.

Following these steps, you can effectively set up and manage TGMA Tasks on the Galxe Dashboard. This ensures a seamless experience for both users and project owners.

FAQs

Is it possible to deactivate a task upon release?

Yes, you can stop a task at any time.

Will the deposit be used up if the task rewards are Points, GG, or a combination of both? Will it be deducted to cover claiming fees?

Currently, Points and GG do not consume the Toncoin deposit. Only when using Tokens as rewards will it consume the deposit.

Is it required to have a deposit before releasing a task that rewards Points or GG only?

No deposit is required.

When the reward method is set to 'Recurrence', can users only claim their rewards after the task period ends? Will the rewards be distributed all at once?

Yes, there is a difference between “Recurring Task” and “Recurring Quest.” For a Recurring Task, users must continuously complete the task throughout the task period before they can claim the reward. For example, in a seven-day Visit Task, users must visit every day for seven days to receive the reward.
